Results and maintenance
Tape extensions must be professionally removed and repositioned as the natural hair grows.
Maintenance is generally required every six to eight weeks, depending on your hair growth, scalp condition, home care and the amount of extension hair being worn.
Leaving extensions in beyond the recommended maintenance period may increase the risk of:

The $30 consultation fee is redeemable toward the extension deposit when you proceed with the recommended service.
A deposit is required at the consultation so the correct hair can be ordered and reserved. The application fee is then paid separately on the day of installation.
Extension services cannot be confirmed until the consultation has been completed and the required deposit has been paid.
Seamless1 Tape Hair Extensions
Tape extensions are placed in carefully sectioned rows to create length, volume or colour while maintaining a relatively flat and discreet attachment.
The number of packets required depends on:
• Your natural hair length
• Hair thickness and density
• Whether your existing haircut is layered or blunt
• The finished length you want to achieve
• Whether the extensions are being used for volume, length, colour or a combination

When Payments Are Made
At the Consultation
The full cost of the extension hair is paid as the deposit so Chantal can order and reserve the correct colour, length and quantity.
On the Installation Day
The separate application fee is paid. This includes:

• Finished styling
The $30 extension consultation fee is redeemable toward the hair deposit when you proceed with the extension order.
Important Booking Information
The one-, two- and three-packet options should not be selected based on price alone. Chantal will determine the correct quantity according to:

Many clients have their extensions installed on the same day as a colour service. In this case, the natural hair will already be professionally washed and prepared as part of the colour appointment.
When you are attending only for extension installation, your natural hair must be clean, dry and properly prepared before application.
You may either:
• Book an Extension Preparation Service to allow time for professional shampooing and blow-drying; or
• Wash and blow-dry your hair at home before arriving, following Chantal’s preparation instructions
Preparing your hair at home can reduce both appointment time and additional cost.
Please arrive with the hair completely dry and free from:

• Leave-in treatments
• Dry shampoo
• Styling products
• Product build-up around the roots
Hair cannot be ordered and the installation appointment cannot be confirmed until the consultation has been completed and the deposit has been paid.
-Tape Extension Removal

The tape extensions are carefully released and removed using the appropriate professional removal solution.
Chantal works methodically to minimise pulling and protect both the natural hair and the reusable extension hair.
The removal price is based on a standard 60-minute appointment. Additional time may be required where there is:
• Overdue maintenance
• Significant matting
• Product build-up
• Tangling
• Extensions applied elsewhere
• Adhesive residue requiring additional work
Removal does not include washing, retaping or reapplication unless those services are booked separately.
-Extension Wash and Blow-Dry Preparation
$80
After removal, the natural hair is professionally washed and blow-dried to remove residue and prepare it for reapplication.
This service allows Chantal to:
• Clean the scalp and natural hair thoroughly
• Remove adhesive residue and product build-up
• Check the condition of the natural hair
• Dry and smooth the hair before reapplication
• Ensure the attachment areas are clean and ready for fresh tapes
-Retaping Tape Hair Extensions
$100 · Approximately 60 minutes
The removed extension hair is cleaned and prepared with fresh tape attachments before it can be reapplied.
During this stage, Chantal will assess the condition of the extension hair and confirm whether it remains suitable for reuse.
Extensions that are excessively damaged, tangled, shortened or compromised may need to be replaced rather than retaped.

The freshly prepared tape extensions are reapplied using a placement pattern suited to your natural hair, density and desired result.
The service includes:

The appointment time is based on a standard two-hour application.
Additional time may be required for unusually dense hair, extensive extension quantities or corrective placement.

Can I have extensions when experiencing hair loss?
Not always.
Chantal will assess the type and extent of the hair loss, scalp condition and strength of the remaining hair. Extensions will only be recommended where they can be supported safely.
Is removal included with retaping or reapplication?
No. Removal, washing, retaping and reapplication are separate stages because each requires its own time and work.
